Acceptable Use Policy

As described in our Terms of Use, Magic may, without prior notice, change the Services; stop providing the Services or features of the Services, to you or to Users generally; or create usage limits for the Services. We may permanently or temporarily terminate or suspend your access to the Services without notice and liability for any reason, including if in our sole determination you violate any provision of this Agreement, or for no reason.

By using Magic, you agree to this Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") and our Terms of Use. This Acceptable Use Policy is not a legal document, but serves as a guideline to explain our current policies for acceptable use of the Service. Magic will update this AUP over time as our Service and community evolve. Please note that our community of users are very important to us and we will take steps to protect our Service as we see fit. Magic may temporarily suspend or permanently terminate your access to the Services without notice and liability for any reason, regardless of what is outlined in this AUP.

1. Be kind to Magic.

Magic will not tolerate abusive, violent, or harassing language of any kind under any circumstances. If you need additional assistance, or to express a complaint, please contact a manager at manager@getmagic.com.

2. Be lawful and be kind to others.

Magic will not facilitate illegal, unlawful or immoral activity or behavior, and will not be used as a platform to harass, annoy, or victimize another person.

3. No threats or extortion.

Magic will not tolerate any threats or extortion.

4. No refunds unless actual cost is refunded by vendor.

Magic fulfills requests using a variety of third-party services. Magic will only refund the Cost of Good or Services to you if the vendor that was used offers a refund to Magic. Think of Magic like your personal assistant. If your personal assistant purchases an item for you, and the item is not to your liking, your assistant may attempt to get a refund for you from the vendor. If the vendor does not provide a refund, your assistant will not absorb the cost. Similarly, neither will Magic.

5. No refunds on Magic time spent, no requests for free work.

Using Magic is like using a personal assistant. You may terminate your use at any time, however Magic cannot spend time on your requests for free. Similar to the personal assistant analogy, if you ask your personal assistant to make a correction to something they are working on, you will pay the personal assistant for their time.

6. All bills are final after 72 hours of being issued.

If there are any discrepancies or errors in our billing, we must be notified within 72 hours of the bill. If you notify us within 72 hours, and we have determined it was an error or issue on our part, we will gladly credit you for that time. After 72 hours of the bill being issued, there will be no disputes or refunds for any amount of the bill.

7. Request refusal, cancellation, and failure.

Magic's vision is to make anything happen for you, as long as it is legal and possible. However, Magic reserves the right to refuse any request for any reason in its sole discretion. Similarly, Magic reserves the right to cancel any request or fail any request for any reason. By using Magic, you understand that this is the case.


Magic reserves the right to make unilateral modifications to this AUP at any time.


Magic reserves the right to suspend or terminate your service at any time for any reason without liability. If you violate the AUP outlined above, you may or may not receive a warning regarding the violation before your service is suspended or terminated.
